ZeroTech Trace FFP 3-18x50
Who tested: Rokslide field eval (2025-07) — read the original write-up, which is the source of record. Who structured it: Optics Intel. We extract outcomes and cite; the testing labor is theirs.
Sample size: 1 (single serial number, provided by ZeroTech) — evidence about this unit, not a verdict on every unit shipped.
Stage-by-stage record
| Tracking / RTZ | Not tested | — |
|---|---|---|
| 18″ drops | Fail | shifted with every drop |
| 36″ (single) | Fail | shifted with every drop |
| 3×36″ | Fail | shifted with every drop |
| Long-term | Fail | out of the zero cone after 3 days and ~50 miles of transport |
Mount setup
Rings/mount: degreased; remounted once mid-zeroing. Ring torque: 20 in-lb. Torque caveat: the source flags mount-torque questions for this eval — weigh the results accordingly.
Notes
Windage failed to move during zeroing until a remount; source concludes poor impact tolerance and erector binding with rings. Distinct from the Trace ADV 4-24.
